Is a hand that is being held supported in the action of holding for its own increasing weakness?

Or is a double support of holding just twice as strong? A hand that is held by another is the

beginning of a system or an architecture.
Why would a hand be held by another? Out of love and affection?

Or more out of pity and compassion?
Held hands are a hot-blooded structure.
